Card Router offers three convenient methods to add cards to your collection. Choose the method that works best for your situation.
Manual Search
The manual search method is perfect for adding individual cards or small batches. Simply type the card name in the search box and select from the results.
Pro Tip: Speed up your search by including the set code and collector number. For example:
"trade routes mmq"- finds Trade Routes from Mercadian Masques"trade routes mmq 112"- finds the specific collector number
This helps you find the exact card version you’re looking for quickly.
How to use Manual Search:
- Navigate to your collection page
- Click the “Add Cards” button
- Type the card name in the search field
- Select the correct card from the dropdown results
- Choose the condition (NM, LP, MP, HP, DMG)
- Select foil type if applicable (non-foil, foil, etched, reverse-foil)
- Set the quantity
- Click “Add to Collection”
This method is ideal when you’re adding cards one at a time or need precise control over card selection.
Keyboard shortcuts
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
C | Jump to Manual Entry and focus the card search field |
↓ / ↑ | Move the highlight down and up the search results |
Enter | Open the highlighted search result |
Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + 1…9 | Open the search result with that badge number |
PageDown / PageUp | Next and previous page of search results |
Cmd/Ctrl + Enter | Add the selected card to your sell list |
Esc | Close the selected card, then clear the search |
Everything below C works from inside the search field, so you can type a
query and pick a card without reaching for the mouse.
C only fires while you are not typing in a field, so it never interrupts a search.
The numbered shortcuts need Cmd/Ctrl + Shift because a bare 1–9
is how you type a collector number into the search box. Each result shows
its number in a badge on the left, and only the first nine on a page get
one — use PageDown or the arrow keys to reach anything further down.
For cards in your collection, you can update the condition, foil-type, and quantity after adding to your collection, but you cannot change the card name, set, or collector number. You’ll have to delete and re-add to change name, set, or collector number.
After Adding Cards
Once you’ve added cards using any of these methods, you can:
- View your complete collection with card images and current market values
- Edit individual card details (condition, quantity, foil type)
- Proceed to the optimization step to unlock your optimization report
- Sign up for an account to save your unlocked optimizations
